Anne Xu grew up in Guangzhou, China.  Following her photographic apprenticeship, she worked as a professional commercial and fine art photographer in China for 15 years.  During this time Anne had numerous exhibits of her work.  She also participated in the China Photographic Art Exhibitions and International Photographic Salons and was awarded Gold and Silver medals.  In addition she served as editor of one of China's prestigious photographic journals.

In 1989, Anne Xu immigrated to the United States.  Here she studied English, photography and computer skills at a local college for three years.  In San Francisco she found employment at Adolph Gasser Inc., a professional photographic equipment and supply company.

In 1999, Anne Xu built her own business.  She shared her art work - landscapes of China - with the people in Art Festivals.  Her popularity and activities have been increased in the passing years.

With her camera and her sensitive perceptions, Anne Xu has captured the poetry and drama of the natural scene both here and abroad.  Each year she returns to China to continue exploring and recording that country's hauntingly beautiful landscapes.
